I stand on the beach of a lake.
There are mountains in the distance.
I'm alone.
Completely alone.
The sky is clear.
Is the lake so blue?
Is it the reflection of the sky?
Or is it the reflection of my mood?

My hands are in my pockets.
I just stare into the water
and think of her.

Suddenly I'm in a canoe.
Out in the middle of the lake.
As I tell you my woes, you tell me
that you're in the same boat.

You are not in my boat.
I am alone.

We are in the same lake,
but our boats are different.

I look at you,
and back at myself.
This is getting me nowhere.
This won't solve my problems.
I can't live like this.

I'm determined now.
I've got to find her again.
I pick up my paddle
and set sail.

I'm not sure where
these waters will take me.
But now I know
it is worth the risk.
