I hoped you would understand
I hoped you could see
I'm so horrible
I feel so ugly
I'm just not ready yet
when I think of all my advice
I can't be a hypocrite
or it would all be lies
one day soon perhaps
but the moment is not here
with every passing day
it is coming nearer
maybe someday
if you still like me
maybe then
though it isn't likely
I can only hope
and wish you the best
throughout your life
for now and the rest
