maybe I never told you, but I think the world of you
maybe you didn't know, but I hold you in high regard
did you ever know how much I look up to you?
well I never thought that I would be jealous of you
but I see the way her eyes light up when you're around
I noticed how she takes interest in every thing you do
and if I didn't like you so, I might be inclined to hate
but when I see the way she looks at you I cannot help but smile
because the two of you are wonderful, the two of you are great
and I know that as of yet nothing's set in stone
but I wish the best for you and hope it all works out
and I know eventually I'll no longer be alone
