the most curious smile
I have seen in a while
is the one that you gave to me that day
while I let out a sigh
I can only guess why
I think of you every passing day
even now that you're gone
I am singing this song
in the hope that you will return some way
oh yes I remember you
you're the one who helped me through
the part in my life when I was stuck
you pulled me out of the muck
that I was sinking deeper in
then I never saw you again
